Persian Rugs the O'Connell Guide

Sometimes the easiest way to fix something is to start over. My main guide to Persian Rugs is a mess so I started a new page and I am cleaning up the old information as the beginning of rewriting it. The first part can be seen at: Persian Rugs the O'Connell Guide

Teke/Tekke 180 KPSI single wefted Tekke khalyk from Jim Allen

Hello,
My dear friend Jim Allen sent me images of a very special Tekke Khalyk which he added to his collection. It is single wefted which means it is in a very small group of Tekke rugs to the different from the vast majority of Tekke rugs and trappings. I am making a little list of single wefted Tekke rugs and trappings but I am not up to a dozen so compared relatively common double wefted it is a small group indeed.
